A concept plan for Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers was presented at tonight’s Village Board Meeting. The proposed building would be 3,150 square feet with 39 parking spaces and a drive-thru lane. The restaurant would be constructed on the former site of the Sam’s Club gas station on Weber Road, presently between Romeoville Smiles Dentistry and Lenny’s $3 Car Wash. If there are no delays, Freddy’s could begin construction in spring 2022 for a fall 2022 opening.
“We are pleased to welcome Freddy’s to the continuing development that is springing up around the community,” said Mayor Noak.
