Freddy’s opens Friday in Elizabethton

ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Friday, July 9, at 1512 W. Elk Ave. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce is planned for Thursday, July 8, at 3 p.m. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, Vienna® Beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“Freddy’s is a family-friendly concept,” said Bob Rasberry, franchise owner. “We take pride in being a part of the community and being a good neighbor to the residents and businesses nearby. We hope to be a convenient dining option for nearby shoppers, as well as for Guests who live, work and attend school in the area.”

The 2,500 square-foot, endcap restaurant seats 84 Guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service, DoorDash delivery and mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app are also available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
