Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is planning a second Sioux Falls location.
The restaurant plans a stand-alone space on the campus of The Empire Mall. It will be on vacant land south of Burger King, east of the former Gordmans and north of the Hy-Vee convenience store and gas station.
The plan is to start construction in the coming weeks and target an opening in April 2022, a spokesperson for Freddy’s said.
Freddy’s also is under construction at Dawley Farm Village and on track to open in mid-January, the company said.
