Freddy’s opens in Marion on Wednesday

MARION, Iowa – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Wednesday, May 14, at 6001 Carlson Way. The new restaurant marks a third Freddy’s location in the Cedar Rapids metro area. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“Our newest location is conveniently located off U.S. 151 and 13, and we look forward to becoming a go-to dining option for both travelers and those who work or reside in the area,” said Steven Young, operating partner. “We provide high quality, cooked-to-order menu items in a clean and comfortable environment. When you walk in, you can expect a warm greeting, and you’ll experience genuine hospitality the ‘Freddy’s Way.’ Our menu is customizable and many of our regular guests enjoy crafting the perfect dish of custard with their favorite toppings.”

The 3,000 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 84 guests, has additional seating on the patio and offers drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website will be available in a month. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
