A Kansas staple will be opening a new kind of restaurant in Salina soon after officially breaking ground Friday.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is set to open a drive-thru and walk up only location, the first of its kind for the company, at 916 E. Crawford St. right next to Mokas.
“This is a great step for Freddy’s,” said Scott Redler, COO and co-founder of Freddy’s. “This is a prototype concept for us with a double drive-thru and no inside seating which focuses on the mobile guest.”
There will also be a patio of around 40 seats for customers that want to walk up to the restaurant and enjoy outdoor dining.
