Freddy’s first San Gabriel Valley location opens in Glendora on Tuesday
GLENDORA, Calif. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, June 17, at 1834 E. Route 66. The opening marks Freddy’s first location in San Gabriel Valley. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“We feel thrilled to bring the Freddy's experience to this new location and introduce our signature steakburgers and frozen custard to the local community,” said Ellis Choi, franchise owner. “First-time guests often ask, ‘What makes a Freddy’s steakburger special?’ We start with lean 100 percent ground beef, sprinkle on our famous seasoning, press the patty thin and sear on a flat-top grill until the edges are deliciously crispy. We regularly recommend the Original Double, which comes standard with two patties, two slices of cheese, mustard, onion slices and pickle planks.”
The 1,881 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 26 guests, has additional seating on the patio and offers drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website will also be available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“Our focus on providing high-quality menu items cooked fresh to order with genuine hospitality and fast, friendly service makes us a desirable lunch and dinner choice for those who live, work and attend school in the area,” said Choi. “We’re a convenient stop for travelers going through Route 66, and we’re also a great spot for who want to relax and enjoy a fresh meal and dessert treat with family and friends. We’re looking forward to continuing the growth of our fast-casual burger concept throughout the San Gabriel Valley area.”
