Freddy’s in Oak Grove opens Tuesday

OAK GROVE, Ky. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 211 Claire Ave. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Freddy’s experience to this community, and especially to serve all our military living and stationed at Fort Campbell Army base across from us. Our commitment to serving high-quality, cooked-to-order food and providing exceptional hospitality is at the heart of everything we do, and we can’t wait to become a part of the Oak Grove and Fort Campbell Army base community,” said Chris Benner, franchise owner. “We look forward to being a convenient dining option for those who live and work in the area, as well as those traveling along Interstate 24.”

The 2,156 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 32 guests and offers drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website will also be available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“First-time guests often ask, ‘What makes a Freddy’s steakburger special?’,” said Benner. “We start with lean 100 percent ground beef, sprinkle on our famous seasoning, press the patty thin and sear on a flat-top grill until the edges are deliciously crispy. We regularly recommend the Original Double, which comes standard with two steakburger patties, cheese, mustard, onion slices and pickle planks.”
