Freddy’s opened Oct. 19 in Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Sunday, Oct. 19, at 1151 Ring Rd. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“Ring Road has a steady flow of traffic and a good mix of restaurants and retail businesses, so it felt like the right spot for our next Freddy’s,” said Jaith Brooking, CEO of For The Belly, a Freddy’s franchise group. “We’ve been looking forward to bringing Freddy’s to Elizabethtown for a while now. We’re excited to open the doors, fire up the grills, and start serving the community.”

The 3,145 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 90 guests, has additional seating on the patio and offers drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website will also be available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“This Elizabethtown project has been a long time coming, and it’s thrilling to finally see it come to life,” added Brooking. “It’s our fifth Freddy’s in six years, and we’re not slowing down—we have plans for three additional locations across Kentucky in the future.”
