Freddy’s opens in Estepp’s in Versailles on Tuesday

VERSAILLES, Ky. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, Nov. 18, at 1031 Tyrone Pike attached to Estepp’s convenience store. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“We feel so thrilled to bring Freddy’s as a new food option in store, and we think their delicious menu offerings and fast, friendly service will resonate with our guests,” said Steve Estepp, franchise owner. “Our goal is to provide a variety of food options at Estepp’s, and Freddy’s will be a great fit with their premium quality cooked-to-order menu items and freshly churned frozen custard treats. We look forward to being a convenient dining option for those who live and work in the area, as well as for those traveling along U.S. Hwy 62.”

The restaurant seats 24 guests. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“First-time guests often ask, ‘What makes a Freddy’s steakburger special?’,” said Estepp. “We start with lean 100 percent ground beef, sprinkle on our famous seasoning, press the patty thin and sear on a flat-top grill until the edges are deliciously crispy. We regularly recommend the Original Double, which comes standard with two steakburger patties, cheese, mustard, onion slices and pickle planks.”
