Freddy’s opens Tuesday in Thibodaux
THIBODAUX, La. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Tuesday, April 14, at 810 N. Canal Blvd. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“We feel thrilled to bring the Freddy’s experience to the Thibodaux community and introduce our signature steakburgers and frozen custard to new guests,” said Chad Ducote, franchise owner. “We look forward to becoming a convenient dining option for those who live and work in the area, as well as for guests looking for a place to eat after shopping with our retail neighbors. Our commitment to premium quality, cooked-to-order menu items and genuine hospitality will make this restaurant a destination for families and friends who want to enjoy fresh, hot meals and classic dessert treats in a comfortable atmosphere.”
The 3,302 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 66 guests, has additional seating on the patio and offers drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website will also be available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“First-time guests often ask, ‘What makes a Freddy’s steakburger special?’,” said Amanda Ducote, franchise owner. “We start with lean 100 percent ground beef, sprinkle on our famous seasoning, press the patty thin and sear on a flat-top grill until the edges are deliciously crispy. We regularly recommend the Original Double, which comes standard with two steakburger patties, cheese, mustard, onion and pickles.”
