Freddy’s opens in York on Labor Day
YORK, Neb. – Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers®, a fast-casual restaurant concept, opens Monday, Sept. 1 at 3627 S. Lincoln Ave. Freddy’s is known for its cooked-to-order steakburgers made with lean 100 percent ground beef, all-beef hot dogs, crispy shoestring fries and frozen custard treats made with freshly churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.
“Guests in York have been requesting that we join their community, and we’re excited to make this announcement today. We can’t wait to start serving the area,” said Ron Oberg, franchise owner. “We look forward to being a convenient dining option for travelers along the intersection of Interstate I-80 and US 81 on Labor Day, and for everyday guests who are looking for a premium quality restaurant with fast, friendly service.”
The 3,084 square-foot, freestanding restaurant seats 78 guests, has additional seating on the patio and offers drive-thru service. Mobile ordering through the Freddy’s app and website will also be available. Hours of operation are 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
