As highlighted at GrubHub, having menu items that are designed especially for kids makes it easier to find kid-friendly food and order it quickly. While many offerings at Freddy’s are available to guests of all ages, the three Kids Meals are specifically for guests 12 and under. Each meal features a main, a drink, a side and a sweet frozen custard treat! As with other Combo Meals like the Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich Combo, kids can choose the toppings and/or sauces for the main dish, as well as their side, drink and treat. 1. Three Different Main Dish Options
One common mealtime challenge is finding a single meal that everyone is excited to eat on any particular day. Fortunately, the Kids Meals at Freddy’s offer a choice of three main dishes that tend to be very popular with kids. Kids can choose a meal that features a steakburger with or without cheese, an all-beef hot dog, or two crispy chicken tenders. Then, they can select the perfect dipping sauces for their Kid’s Tender Combo like barbecue sauce or ranch. They might also opt to swap the ketchup and pickles that are the standard options for the Kid’s Steakburger Combo for other toppings like fresh lettuce or honey mustard. If a toasted bun isn’t something they want with the hot dog in the Kid’s Hot Dog Combo, then they can choose to omit that too! In short, kids can pick their favorite main from three different meal options and customize it to their preferences.
2. Choice of Sides and Drinks
Some kids like eating the same foods every day, while others are open to trying anything. As with the main dishes in our Kids Meals, our younger guests also have choices when it comes to their sides and drinks. Drink options include a variety of soft drinks, apple juice or regular or chocolate milk. 3. Custard Treats – Now Included!
Originally, our Kids Meals came with an entertainment component, such as an interactive toy. However, based on guest feedback, we’ve updated our offerings to include a special frozen custard treat instead. Therefore, guests will now see a Small Custard Scoop as part of the Kids Meals. Guests will also have to choose between two different Small Custard Scoop options: one that features our rich chocolate frozen custard with chocolate chips and the other that comes with our creamy vanilla custard and colorful sprinkles!
Frequently Asked Questions about Freddy’s Kids Meals
Can I substitute the Small Custard Scoop for another frozen custard treat?
The Small Custard Scoop cannot be substituted for another frozen treat in the Kids Meals. Additionally, this treat is not available in a cone or as a half and half blend of both of custard flavors.
Do the Kids Meals still come with an interactive toy?
No, the Kids Meals no longer include a toy, but they now have a Small Custard Scoop as one of the four parts of this meal.
Can I upgrade the side for a Kids Meal?
For Kids Meals, guests have a choice of four different sides. However, upgrading to other sides or sizes of sides is not available for these meals.
Are drink upgrades available?
Yes, you can upgrade the small drink in a Kids Meal to a mini sundae, concrete or shake. If you choose to upgrade your drink to a frozen custard treat, you will still need to select one of the Small Custard Scoop options to complete your order.
